The Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club will be hosting their Xmas horserace Meeting on Monday December 26 (Boxing Day) at the Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice racetrack.
The Meet which will see races galloping for distances of over six furlongs, seven furlongs and one mile to win attractive prizes up to one million dollars.
The B & Lower W/A race is the main event and at stake is a first prize of one million dollars.
The 3years Guyana & West Indies Bred one mile race has a five hundred thousand dollars purse.
The 2years Old and F & Lower W/A race will over six furlongs for a $400,000 top prize.
The winner of the G & Lower W/A (one mile) and H & Lower W/A (7 furs) will be rewarded with $300,000 and $220,000 respectively.
The 13 & J & Lower winner will be taking home $160,000 as the I1 & Lower class will be competing for the first prize of 180 thousand dollars.
