Dear Editor,
It has come to my attention that Mr Robert Persaud is attempting to disrespect one of the most outstanding patriots of our country because he did what Joseph Hamilton did, which is change his political preference.
What moral authority does Mr Robert Persaud have to question the democratic right of Mr Nagamootoo to choose his political party. Does he have a transport over Mr Nagamootoo like he has over Joseph Hamilton and the House of Israel?
Mr. Persaud alludes to an alleged derogatory statement of this patriotic son of Guyana. What is more derogatory than a serving President calling the media that is doing its job “carrion crows and vultures” (even though the PPP is a dying and decaying party that is fodder for carrion crows).
Mr. Persaud ought to better advise his misguided President that attempt to sully the character of this man of unquestionable integrity is beyond his moral authority and mental mass. He is operating like a yard fowl.
Mr. Persaud needs to ask himself some hard questions such as:
1. Why did a serving PPP Home Affairs Minister bully senior Police officials to upgrade the weapon of a convicted criminal to get an upgraded weapon? Is that a derogatory action Mr. Persaud?
2. Is it right for a serving PPP Minister of Health to be fingered by the Americans with a convicted drug lord and the facilitators for this drug lord by granting him official approval to procure and use spy equipment on law abiding citizens including the Commissioner of Police. Isn’t that a derogatory act Mr. Persaud?
3. Is it right for a serving PPP President to not appoint, not one Ambassador of Afro-Guyanese heritage? Isn’t that a derogatory act Mr Persaud?
Let us be clear, the war is over. The Alliance for Change is moving on with Moses Veersammy Nagamootoo since he will help us to cross the victory line and send shivers down the spine of the domesticated chickens in the PPP. In common parlance, the yard fowls in the PPP.
Maybe it is time Mr. Persaud busies himself at investigating the rigging of internal PPP elections to manufacture a Presidential Candidate who does not know where his left hand is from his right hand.
Can Mr Persaud explain why his Presidential Candidate Mr Ramotar is ducking the debate. Isn’t that a derogatory act?
When God blesses a Moses, no Jagdeo, Persaud, Rohee or Ramotaur can curse him. Moses is a winner, not a whiner like the PPP cabal. Moses has made an exodus from Pharoah. I rest my case.
Regards.
Euclid Gill
PS: I am a young man who is 29 and totally disgusted at the PPP and these nasty statements. I am real, if you want me to come into your office, I am ready and willing.
