Budhan’s Memorial Turf Club and Sports Complex of Number 66 Village, Corentyne, Berbice will on Sunday November 13 stage a one day horserace meeting starting at 1:00pm.
The day’s programme will see a total seven races at one of the new horseracing facilities in the country. The main event is for I Class horses and will see a total prize money of $280,000 being paid out with $150,000 for the winner.
The track is said to be in very good condition and turfites are expected to experience an entertaining day of racing. Additional attractions will also be part of the programme with popular musical entertainment also being provided.
The new starting gates will be used at the venue.
