Move up 19 places in latest FIFA/Coca Cola World Ranking
Guyana has jumped 19 places up the FIFA Coca Cola World Ranking to 97 in the latest ranking released on August 19.
One month before, the Golden Jaguars were placed at 116 but a string of positive results has seen the Country breaking under the 100 barrier. Spain maintained their billing as the number one in the world.
Guyana is placed at number 11 in CONCACAF with Mexico occupying the top spot while the Guyanese are 4th in the CFU which has Jamaica (50 in the world) in the top spot with Trinidad and Tobago (79 in the world) 2nd and Antigua & Barbuda (90 in the world) 3rd.
