Since you tun on de radio is one or two thing. Dem ah watch We or Put you hand Up. Is de two political party telling people fuh vote fuh dem. De music nice and people singing but dem politicians getting vex.
Now dem boys seh that de other party mekking a jingle We gun watch You. And de other one mekking a jingle If you put up you hand we gun chop it off. Is suh dem boys know that de elections kick off. De elections campaign sweet.
De ordinary man hearing de music and he dancing. He ain’t worry bout de message. Dem boys want to know, though, who gun put up dem hand when dem know that only li’l children does do that in school when de teacher know that dem tired.
De watching part, dem boys can understand. Wid all wha de Waterfalls paper was reporting, all de thiefing and corruption, somebody got to watch. But old people know that de more you watch de less you see.
Dem other political party ain’t got no jingle. Dem boys seh that is because dem don’t have people who can sing.
But again, old people seh that if you can’t sing, whistle. Dem boys want to know if dem can find people who can whistle.
And dem boys notice that de crowd getting smaller at political parties. Is either dem trucks running out of gas, or de people tired, or dem get fed up wid all de talking and shouting.
And dem boys wish de Goat Man a happy stint as Prime Minister. He was right. Goat ain’t bite he because de goat had no teeth.
Talk half. Lef half.
