The Bush Lot United Turf Club will be hosting a horserace Meet on Sunday October 9 at the Bush Lot Turf Club, West Coast Berbice.
The event will see eight races with quarter of million dollars for the victor of the G- Class and Lower Race over 1400m. The winner of the 1-3 Maiden (no apprentice allowance, only sex allowance) race over 1000m will take away with $100,000.
The racehorses cover a distance of 1200m in 2 Years Old race and will be rewarded $150,000 as H Class and Lower horse owner will take home $120,000, both events over 1200m.
The horse to cross the finishing line first in I-1; I-2 and I-3 (3 years old and over) race over a distance of 1200m will be rewarded with $100,000. The winner in the J and Lower, Group 1 and Group 2 races (1000m each) will be competing for $80,000, $60,000 and $50,000 respectively.

Buddy Shivraj has played an instrumental part in the rehabilitation works at the venue and will also sponsor one of the races as part of their sponsorship contribution to the Turf Club. Jumbo Jet Auto Sales was one of the key sponsors of the last race meet held at that venue recently.
