Saint Joseph High School Inter-house Championships
After years five of rivalry between Murudi and Holitipu in the St. Joseph High School Inter-house Championships, the latter has proven its dominance again in the Track events as Murudi fell to the ground at Eve Leary Sport ground, yesterday.
The inter-house championship saw its Junior Champion athlete, Micheal Williams dominating in the 400m and 800m against his opponents as Clifton David and Marisa Arthur won the male and female 60m teachers race respectively.

After thirty-seven events, Holitipu (the defending champions) have cumulated 326 points to edge out Wenishema’s 325 points. Akaiwan is presently in third with 263, Irmaipa fourth with 241 points. Murudi is twenty points ahead of Paramakatoi’s 160. Today will determine the winner of the Inter-house Championships as the rigid competition continues with Holitipu and Wenishema battling in the field events at St. Joseph High School ground.
