Guyana Police Force win football title; Table Tennis on tomorrow

The Guyana Police Force proved to be stronger than their opponents as they carted off the Kashif & Shanghai trophy for winning the football competition of the Ministry of Home Affairs Annual September Games Extravaganza.
Police eased to victory with 4 points ahead of Citizen Security Programme on three (30 and the Ministry of Home Affairs which only managed a single point. For their tournament win, Police will receive the Kashif & Shanghai trophy and medals.
Meanwhile, the Police Seargeants and Inspectors Mess, Eve Leary will be buzzing with excitement when the Table Tennis competition comes off tomorrow.
Battling for the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph (GT&T) trophy will be teams from the Guyana Fire Service, Guyana Police Force, Guyana Prison Service, Ministry of Home Affairs, Community Policing Organisation, Liaison Officers Unit, Citizen Security Programme and the Stray Catchers Programme.
The annual games are organised by Ministry of Home Affairs Sports Organiser Ovid Glasglow, DSM.
