Managing Director of the Trophy Stall Mr. Ramesh Sunich on Friday donated three trophies
to the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club (RHTY&SC) that will be used for a female tournament in Berbice.
The Rose Hall Town Metro Female Team would clash with two other teams in a three-way tournament in an effort to continue the promotion of cricket on the distaff side.
Sunich, who is an Honorary Member of the Club in handing over the trophies expressed his delight to be associated with Guyana’s leading youth & sports organisation and congratulated the club for the outstanding work it was doing for youths and sports development in Berbice.
He also expressed his willingness to contribute more in the future especially for sport development among females. Sunich, who is a passionate supporter of all sporting disciplines in Guyana, disclosed that he understands his role as a businessman and the importance of giving back to society.
Organising Secretary of the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Ravi Narine and Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster expressed gratitude to the Management & Staff of Trophy Stall and pledged that the tournament would be a great success.
