Guyana and Barbados will clash today in a Group ‘B’ 2014 World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium.
Both Coaches in earlier interviews did express confidence ahead of the important game, but with Guyana enjoying a higher ranking that the Bajans and playing at home the odds are stacked in their favour.
Add to that most of their influential overseas-based players are back in the squad with players such as Gregory Richardson, Shawn Beveney, Jake Newton and Captain Chris Nurse, all expected to be in the starting line-up for the ‘Golden Jaguars’.

Technical Director is Jamal Shabazz.
The Barbados team is: Barry Skeete – Captain, Jason Soxill, Jason Lovell, Carl Joseph
Dwayne Marks, Kyle Gibson, Mario Harte, Louis Mss, Jonathan Straker, Omar Archer
Renaldo Marques, Norman Forde, Kadeem Atkins, Craig Worrell, Jon Nurse and Riviere Williams.
Head Coach is Colin Forde.
Starting time is 19:30 hrs and admission is $1,000, while children Under-12 is free.
