Scotia Bank Bartica has joined forces with D&C Promotions to ensure that the 2nd edition of their knock-out Twenty20 cricket competition is a resounding success. Representative Mr. Aurvinda Ramdial recently handed over a cheque for $300,000 to the organisers.
The opening ceremony is set for September 3 at the Bartica Community Center Ground from 18:00hrs while the competition will end on September 10.
The tournament, which will see teams from Bartica, North, South, East Bank Essequibo Georgetown and Berbice competing, is being run in association with the Bartica Cricket Committee and the Essequibo Cricket Board.
