Police are investigating another breakage into the premises of Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T), 69 Brickdam, Georgetown.
Reports are that when employees turned up for work yesterday they noticed that the place was in disarray. The police were immediately summoned.
It is believed that burglars made their way into the office some time during Sunday night – gaining access through the rear of the building.
While reports are still sketchy, Public Relations Officer Allison Parker confirmed that a few electrical appliances, including computer monitors, were removed.
The building had been broken into previously and computers along with other electrical items were stolen on that occasion.
