Niee’s residence at Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, will come alive today when Jumbie, in association with TNT hold a Domino Competition.
According to a release from the Organisers, the winning team will pocket $100,000, while second and third places will receive $50,000 and $30,000 respectively.
Twelve (12) teams have entered so far, but many more are anticipated to confirm participation by today’s 13:00 hrs start with $10,000 the entrance fee. There will also be feature matches between Georgetown and Berbice for $25,000 with the best female player receiving $3000 and the male $5000.
The tournament is sponsored by TNT, Golyn and Sons and Parisse Mining who has donated the champion trophy. Chief Operations officer of that company Dharshini Sookhoo donated the trophy earlier in the week, while she pledged the company’s support of the event and sports.
