Biker Boyz Grass Track Meet
Peter Tulsie made the transition from Novice to Pro rider in grand style when he rode to two victories which propelled him to Champion Rider status when the Biker Boyz Grass Track Meet was held on August 7th at the Enterprise Community Centre Ground, East Coast Demerara.
The successful meet comprised of four professional novice races; one open and small bike event as well as three Chappy races. According to the Promoter Kumar Letchman, the races were successful: “It was a successful event and one of the best ever….I am hoping to revive the sport of grass track in Guyana.”
Junior Da Silva and Andrew Wong won one Pro race each while Bobby Rashul won the open race which competitors matching throttles for twenty-five laps.
Promoter Kumar Letchman aka ‘P. Boy’ entertained the crowd in the Dare Devil event which turned out to be very exciting and entertaining. Mr. Letchman expressed gratitude to the sponsors that made the event a productive and successful one.
