MISSING…
A 15-year old girl, Latemia Castello has disappeared following a fight she had with her brother over a CD player around 16:00 hours on Friday.
The Central High School student, who lives at Parfait Harmonie on the West Bank of Demerara, was last seen wearing a blue and white long sleeve shirt and a pair of long blue jeans. The girl’s black hair is said to have been braided in one.
A missing person’s report has been made to the La Grange Police Station on the West Bank of Demerara.
The child’s mother said that her daughter has never stayed away from home and must have been pressured into doing what she did.
The woman said that her daughter would always confide in her as they have a good mother- daughter relationship.
The missing teen’s friends told her mother that she had talked about going to her father in Linden but she has not yet showed up there.
Her 17-year-old brother, with whom she had the fight before she left home, is said to be deeply hurt as he has no idea where his sister is.
Her distraught mother is appealing to her daughter to either go to her father’s house in Linden or her aunt’s place in Georgetown or at least contact the family.
The parents and relatives of Latemia Castello are pleading with the public to contact them if they have seen the teenager.
Persons can either contact the La Grange Police Station on telephone number 264-2357 or her mother on 657-7831, 692-6730, 668-3109, 688-5045 or 647-4747 or the nearest police outpost.
