The Stabroek Warriors Sports body has been forced to postpone their 5-a- side Futsal Knock Out Inter Market Football Tournament to August 9-27 as result of some unforeseen circumstances.
The annual competition was scheduled to commence this month end but due to the lack of adequate sponsorship among other issues, the much anticipated event had to be pushed back.
“We are in discussions with a prospective sponsor who is at this time showing interest and we are confident of getting everything in place for the new date,” the organisers said yesterday.
