A post mortem which was performed on the remains of Leonard Lamason has put all speculation to rest as it revealed that he died of natural causes.
This publication was told that the man who was found in Non Pareil home died of heart complications.
The post mortem was done yesterday at the Georgetown Public Hospital’s mortuary by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.
Reports are that around 09:00 hours on Friday a woman who works with Leonard Lamason, called ‘Sugar’, turned up for work but did not get any response when she called out for him. Lamason operated a beer garden from his home.
Fearing the worst, the man’s employee then went to his cousin’s home to inform her of the situation.
The dead man’s cousin Jacqueline Lewis said she then went to another relative’s home and they went to Lamason’s home.
“Me uncle had to break in de house and he tell we that ‘Sugar’ dead, he say that ‘Sugar just deh lying on de bed and he dead.”
The woman said that her uncle was last seen alive on Thursday night.
There appeared to be no sign of forced entry to his house. She added that persons were at his shop up to late Thursday evening.
