Strange things does happen. Imagine this country bring in a man to advise dem how fuh deal wid crime and de very man tun a victim of crime.
De man deh pun de seawall because he got to exercise to keep down he blood pressure. Two men tackle he and shoot he. Dem boys seh that he give one positive advice. “Keep off de seawall and crime gun go down.”
Dem boys know that this thing is commonsense. Some people common but dem don’t have sense. Of course, some people want to know how sense can be common but then dem realize that dem have some ministers who common and who have sense. Dem is de ones wid commonsense. But dem have de others who common.
De common ones is de ones who does use sirens when dem going to buy Chinee food. Dem who got sense did not tun up fuh open de Saffon Street bridge wid ribbon cutting and de like.
Dem know that nobody woulda tek out dem picture, certainly not de people wukking at de Waterfalls paper. Some common ones woulda try a ting. Just like how de pastor try a thing wid a thiefing car.
He preaching to people how dem should not steal and he thief a whole car.
He learn plenty things after he get ketch. He learn bout de wages of sin; he learn that crime does not pay and he learn that when church collection missing he got to find he own money to post bail.
He now wondering if he gun get a chance to preach in jail to people who only got one thing in mind—mek some pastor tun woman in jail.
Talk half. Lef half.
