Tomorrow is Father’s Day and if couple newspaper didn’t talk bout this day nobody woulda remember. One lady call Uncle Adam since de week before to wish he Happy Father’s Day.
De other day a man pun de radio announce that fathers need pampering. Dem boys get vex. Dem seh that de people who need pampers is dem old ones and dem have nuff fathers who ain’t even ready fuh pampers.
Indeed some need pampers. Dem boys seh that when Henry been sick he woulda have to wear pampers. Is just that dem didn’t have he size. Fathers need pampering. Hmmm.
Dem gun have fathers who gun sit home all alone because nobody ain’t remember dem.
Some of dem was like bull dog—mek dem children and run and now is Father’s Day dem regret.
One of dem boys, whenever Father’s Day come around, he does cry. And every year he does mek de same mistake. He does spend a lot of money fuh Mother’s day, hoping that somebody gun do de same fuh he. And of course he does lef without. When he ask, de people does tell he that dem forget and that he gun be treated nice de next year.
Breakfast in bed? Special dinner? Nutten like that.
And de thing that nuff Fathers gun find out, especially dem that ain’t marry. Women gun tun up and still expect dem men fuh treat dem pun Father’s Day.
