‘Bluie Max’ to entertain; registration forms & giveaways along route
With the hype and excitement building ahead of the official kick off for the inaugural GT&T FastBall football tournament, GT&T will continue their awareness campaign today with a FastBall Road Show commencing at 09:00hrs that will touch dozens of areas in Georgetown and the corridors along the East Coast of Demerara up to Victoria and back.
The aim of the Road Show is to heighten awareness of the innovative FastBall football among players and fans.
Interested teams will also be able to access registration forms from the GT&T personnel and Models who will be part of today’s activity where lots of GT&T giveaways and prizes will be on offer. The famous ‘Bluie Max’ will be on hand to entertain along the route.
The Road Show moves off from GT&T’s Head Office on Brickdam at 09:00hrs proceeds through Cemetery Road, West Ruimveldt, Albouystown, Charlestown, Avenue of the Republic, Church Street, Kitty, East Coast Highway all the way to the village of Victoria before making its way back along the Railway embankment into Sheriff Street into Lodge and back to GT&T’s Head Office. Music will be provided by Sonic Boom.
Meanwhile, awareness games are set for tomorrow at three venues; BV Ground on the East Coast of Demerara, Anna Regina Community Centre Ground in Essequibo and the Skeldon Community Centre Ground, Berbice.
Action in Essequibo will kick off at 13:00hrs with three matches carded among Henrietta, Supenaam, Queenstown, Dartmouth, Charity and Richmond football teams.
Kick off time at the other two venues is 15:00hrs. Skeldon will see matches between Rosignol United/Liverpool, Paradise, Cougars, New Amsterdam United, Rose Hall United, Courtland, United Fyrish, Scotsburg and Corriverton Links.
The teams matching skills at the BV Ground are Bakewell Buxton Stars, BV Triumph United,
Ann’s Grove, Golden Star FC of Golden Grove, Mahaica and Victoria Kings.
At tomorrow’s games, fans will be able to win GT&T prizes including free credit after participating in simple novelty games.
