Farnum’s X1 beat Louisa All-Stars by five wickets in a t20 tapeball cricket match at the National Park Tarmac last Sunday.
Louisa All-Stars were dismissed for 174 in 17.3 overs with D. Wade (30), M. Munroe (25) and S. Williams (20) leading the way with the bat as Skipper Dexter Bowen grabbed 5-5 from 3.3 overs, V. Panday 3-19 from four overs and Shemroy Barrington 2-14 from three overs.
Troy Benn struck a Man-of-the-Match 60 and added 80 for the second wicket with Jason Grimmond (26) before Bowen finished unbeaten on 21 and Danny Jadunauth (17*) saw their team to victory after they needed 42 from the last eight overs.
S. Williams took 2-32 and S, Wade 2-25 in a losing effort for the Louisa All-Stars.
