Relatives and concerned friends are seeking information on the whereabouts of Saheed Sheriff Asraf, who was reported missing last week.
Asraf, said to be in his early eighties, was reported missing to the Alberttown Police Station last Thursday by a friend of the family, Ramnarine Balkaran.
Balkaran told Kaieteur News that Asraf is a resident of a nursing home, and he went missing about a week and a half before the report was made.
Balkaran, not related to the missing man, made the report on behalf of Asraf’s daughter, Bibi Zurina Asraf, who is resident in the United States.
Anyone with information on Saheed Sheriff Asraf’s location is asked to contact the nearest police station.
