Is Mother’s Day again and nuff people mother gun run and hide from dem. Whole year some mothers does try to carry some li’l thing fuh dem big children, some of who got dem own children. But when is Mother’s day all of dem does visit de woman and instead of carrying something fuh she dem expect she fuh feed and entertain all of dem.
Dem boys love dem mother to death and indeed some of dem mothers dead. One man actually buy a box of chocolate fuh he diabetic mother. He claim that was to show he love. Well if that is love dem boys wouldn’t like to see wha he woulda buy if he hate she.
Then dem have some husbands who does complain because de wife expect breakfast in bed. One man couldn’t cook to save he life and he doctor de wife food wid salt. De woman end up drinking water whole day.
But on de whole is a nice day. Good people gun carry out dem mother fuh a special lunch or dinner because dem don’t want to share wid dem sister. Them is de people who got more money that dem can spend but dem cheap. Dem is de people who believe that when dem close dem eyes dem gun carry de money wid dem and spend it in de after life like how dem Pharaohs use to believe.
Some mothers spending de day crying because some son gone pun de other side. One man thief and when people believe that he gun treat he mother he treat friends. He mother call de police pun he.
Anyhow, Mother’s Day is special and dem boys decide that dem ain’t talking nutten bad bout anybody.
But dem couldn’t forget de policeman who bun up de police vehicle. Dem boys watch he when he pick up de piece of hose and go to de vehicle. Dem see when he siphon de gas in a can. He was smoking.
Same time de sergeant come out and holler pun he. De cigarette fall out he mouth and next thing was fire—fire pun de hose, fire pun de car and now dem thief smiling because de police don’t have a patrol vehicle.
Talk half. Lef half.
