The East Coast Cricket Board launches its 2011 season with two Carib T/20 quarterfinals matches from 13:00hrs this Sunday at the Lusignan Community Centre Ground and Strathaven Cricket Ground respectively.
The five teams which are through to the Quarterfinals are Enterprise , Lusignan -defending champion , Strathaven ,Lions XI and Plaisance.
Enterprise has drawn the bye to the semifinal.
Quarterfinals fixtures are as follows:
Lusignan VS Plaisance at Lusignan Community Centre ground starting at 1PM with umpires D. Anandjit and K. Baker and Strathaven vs Lions X1 at Strathaven Ground Starting at 1pm with Umpires G Dindial and G. D’Aguiar.
The winner between Plaisance and Lusignan will draw the bye to the final while the winner between Strathaven and Lions X1 will clash with Enterprise for a place in the final.
The final will be played under lights at a venue to be named with a grand fundraiser.
Meanwhile, all teams interested in playing the CARIB 20/20 2011 are asked to contact Mr. Samaroo Jailall on telephone 226 0506 or 227 2022 during office hours or send an email to [email protected] stating all club information including Name telephone number, address and name of players.
