A huge crowd is expected to converge at the Everest Cricket Club ground tomorrow to witness the quarter-finals of this year’s GT&T’s 10/10 Softball Cricket Competition which has entered its final stages.
Word from the Organisers is that all systems are in place to accommodate the anticipated large influx of spectators and supporters of the sixteen teams that have made it to this segment of the tournament, especially with over $10 million in prizes and trophies up for grabs in what has become the biggest softball tournament in Guyana.
Favourites and defending champions Trophy Stall will start as favourites against Universal Solutions Tigers in the Men’s Division, while in the same category, Celebrity Times versus Sandust XI could go down to the wire and predicting a winner is a difficult task.
Regal XI, one of the pre-tournament favourites is anticipated to have a tough time against Affiance Storm, while Wolf Warriors and Adventure Sports Club matchup should provide the fireworks to light up the day’s play and picking a winner here is just as tricky as the other encounters.
