Inaugural Champions Linden Foundation Secondary remained unbeaten in this year’s Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Schools Football Competition after scoring a narrow 3-2 win over Christianburg / Wismar when the two teams clashed on Tuesday, at the Bayroc Community Centre ground.
The win made it three in as many matches in the tournament so far, while defending champions Wisburg Secondary after an initial stutter in their opening match seems to be on the rise with two consecutive wins this time a 3-0 triumph against Linden School of Excellence.
In the Linden Foundation versus Christianburg / Wismar encounter, Lancelot Massiah (21st), Andrew Breedy (25th) and Ricardo Estwick (53rd) were the players on target, while Dorwayne Luke (43rd) and Gavin Morsen (50th) responded for the losers.
In the other game, Wisburg Secondary got their goals off the boots of Clairmont Fields (9th), Romel Pickering (27th) and Travis McKenzie (42nd).
