Competitors at for next Monday’s season opening event of the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club 3-hour Endurance Meet will not have to worry about tyres becoming worn very quickly, rather they will have to be concerned about the anticipated close rivalry.
The Le Mans style start is expected to be used to send the drivers off for the 3-hour Endurance Race.
Drivers will now have a newly resurfaced South Dakota Circuit to exhibit their skills and abilities which is sure to increase excitement among fans.
With competitors expected from Suriname, local drivers will have to be at their best to hold off the anticipated challenge from our Dutch neighbours, who from all reports have signalled their intentions to field a strong team.
The locals’ chances will depend heavily on the performance of Team Fullworks which include Shairaz and Shahab Roshandin, the pair that has dominated the event recently.
Meanwhile, the Le Mans style start will be in effect and over thirty cars are expected to take to the grid.
A large turnout is anticipated for the start of the motor racing season and fans will be eager to gauge the performances of competitors, especially on the resurfaced circuit.
