The eagerly anticipated Len’s Craft Optical/Sunburst Orange Juice Under-15 football league which was scheduled to kick off today at the GFC Ground has been postponed due to consistent rain which has left the venue in an unplayable state.
Consistent rain on Thursday which continued yesterday and last evening forced the organisers to cancel the start of the tournament which will see ten (10) City Clubs vying for the top spot and bragging rights.
The competing clubs have been placed into two groups. Pele, Sunburst Camptown, Georgetown Football Club, Houston Stars and BK International Western Tigers comprise group-one while those battling in group-two are Santos, Fruta Conquerors, Riddim Squad, Flamingo and Renaissance.
