Residents of Howes Street, Charlestown, continue to be shocked by the actions of a well known drug addict, who is in the habit of removing skeletal remains from Le Repentir Cemetery.
His latest act was the dumping of a child’s coffin with a portion of skeleton just outside the Charlestown Secondary School yesterday morning.
This newspaper received a telephone call which informed that the coffin was dumped outside the school and it was traumatizing the students.
When Kaieteur News arrived at the location, residents stated that this was the second such act in less than a week by the drug addict who resides in the area.
According to one resident, on Monday last, the man brought the coffin and dumped it on his bridge.
The resident said that on checking it he noticed part of a skeleton of a mature person and he quickly removed the coffin with the bones and placed it on the other side of the road.
The resident said that the same afternoon, part of a skull was found a few yards away.
“Last week he bring a big coffin and dump it in front hey. This man is a mad man and they should do something about this situation!” the resident stated emphatically.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
