Twenty-one and counting the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation continues to lead the way as regards the further development of football in Guyana.
At the presentation ceremony for the last tournament held on Friday evening last at the Sleepin International Hotel Poolside, Co-Director Kashif Muhammad in his remarks informed the gathering that international sports company, USA based +One is on board.
“They came to us ladies and gentlemen; they offered to come on board after the success of the previous tournament.
They told us that throughout the entire Caribbean this was the football event that they wanted to identify with and to give their support to. Even now, and beyond what they have given to this tournament, we are working on an arrangement that promises to extend beyond our own tournament.”
Muhammad said that football on the whole stands to benefit from +One’s association with the Kashif & Shanghai Organisation.
Champions of the 21st K&S tourney, Alpha United were presented with a voucher valued US $25,000 in Kit sponsorship over a two year period by Vice President of Marketing and New Business Deals Donna Wilson.
Beaten finalists Pele collected a voucher worth US$10,000 in Kit sponsorship which will be over the period of one year. Tournament MVP Devon Millington of Pele will receive Kit valued at US$1500.
