The relatives of 65-year-old Hilton Richardson, of 156 Non Pariel Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, are pleading with public spirited citizens to be on the look out for the elderly man who went missing over a week ago.
The father, of eight and grandfather of 17, was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue pants, brown pair of shoes, a red Digicel cap and carrying a green bag.
Nichole Richardson, daughter of the missing man, said that he was last seen last week Thursday upon leaving the house for work. The man who is said to be a guard never reported to work on that day. According to Richardson, she made contact with the man’s boss, friends and associates; none of whom could have given an account for her father’s whereabouts.
The distraught woman told this publication that her father is epileptic and “drinks hard”. She said that sometimes he may go out, have too much to drink and would not come home the same night, by the next day he is home. According to Richardson, on the day of her father’s disappearance, he was “all well” when he left the house. The woman said that on Friday, when she noticed that it was “late afternoon” and her father had not return home, she began to worry. She told Kaieteur news that she reported him being missing to the Ruimveldt Police Station but so far, no officer have been able to track down the elderly man.
According to the woman, her father is a peaceful man who is not known for troubling anyone. She said that she and her siblings have been searching the town since Friday but was not successful in locating the man or getting any information as to where he might be. The concerned Richardson is pleading for anyone knowing the whereabouts of her father to contact the relatives on; 223;5943, 223;2366, 669;1096 and 696;0829.
