Dec 31, 2010 Letters
Dear Editor,
I must have penned those famous opening words (Dear Editor) thousands of times already. But here I am penning my final correspondence for this decade, 2010. It is here where I must use a few column inches and restrain myself at the same time from writing long paragraphs like I usually do (much to the horror of my editors) to be short and concise.
I have enjoyed expressing my opinions in these pages during the past years (some 140 letters) and it is at this juncture where I wish all the readers and especially the Editor-in-Chief Mr. Adam Harris, Mr. Mike Baptiste and everyone at the Editorial department of the Kaieteur News only the best wishes for 2011. Thank you all for the work that you do.
Thousands of issues have been raised here during the past year. The letters columns have always been a place of refuge for many persons who have the boldness to speak their minds and face the music afterwards. I certainly have faced the music for my writings here on numerous occasions.
Happy New Year and may all of you have a fulfilling new decade!
Leon Jameson Suseran
