Is a long time people suspect that de government listening pun every conversation. Dey listen and dem now announce how some people had plans to overthrow de government. Dem charge these people wid treason.
Nobody ever get convict of treason but that don’t mean that any government gun stop trying.
Of course dem boys seh that de real aim is not to get a conviction but to keep certain people in jail. Mark Benschop was a classic case.
But something worrying dem boys. Dem want to know how come de same people who listening in pun conversation can’t listen in pun dem criminal who always robbing people wid dem big guns. Is de same system and is de same small country.
De other night somebody call a group of gunmen fuh rob couple people right near de police station. Not a policeman even put up he hand fuh challenge de gunmen and de government never hear de conversation between dem gunman.
Dem boys seh that de government got special people who dem listening to and fuh all de wrang reason. People now want to know if a man talking to he sweet woman if de government gun also listen in and mek notes. Some of dem might even send a transcript of de message to de wife.
But what is strange is that if ordinary people want to track dem own phone records dem have to go to de Police Commissioner who then got to send a police to get permission to check wid de phone company.
Well dem boys checking wid everything and wid everybody. Dem now know that lang time when people used to walk long distances to talk name it made sense. Dem doing de same thing now.
Talk half. Lef half.
