National table tennis player, Jeremy Singh will have his first opportunity to play for a national title after enjoying good exposure and success this year when competition begins on Saturday in his category of the National Table Tennis Championships.
Singh, who is the son of former national female player, Lisa Lewis will be looking to transform his dominance in the Boys’ Under-10 category to the national level from Saturday in what could be a keenly contested category, but one that is in favour of him.
Coming out of the Malteenoes Sports Club, Singh will face some of his more seasoned foes Amit Mookram, Khalil Ninvalle and Khalil Gobin for the U-10 title. The Cadets and Junior contests of the National Championships are set to commence this weekend.
