Last Saturday, 20 winners in the Lucky Dollar Early Bird Savings Promotion representing the third and fourth batch of “Lucky” winners received “fabulous” grocery hampers to the approximate value of $200,000, each winner receiving a $10,000 hamper.
The presentation ceremony was held at Lucky Dollar Regent Street Branch.
The 10 winners from the fourth were Juliet Luckhoo, Stacy Melville, Quincy Vandenburg, Gaipaul Kaiso, Denise Samuels, Indrani Seaewar, Hazel Hannibal, Barbara Fieldridley, Antonio Valenzuela and Jaiparakash Katwaru.
The promotion commenced on October 2 and was opened to all Lucky Dollar customers who shopped $30,000 and more during the promotional period.
The store manager, Sharon Persaud, said that the Early Bird Savings promotion was designed to assist customers with great deals and bargains for the upcoming Christmas season.
She further marketed that, this Christmas all a perspective customer needs is a $1 down payment at any Lucky Dollar Store countrywide.
“It is as easy as 123,” Persaud said in an effort to describe how “simple” it is to access hire purchase from the store.
She said that all a customer needs is proof of income (pay slip or job letter), Proof of address (a utility bill) and identification which can be an ID card or passport.
