The General Marine Male and Female Softball tournament has entered its knockout stage.
This competition was launched in September 2010 with Director of Sports Mr. Neil Kumar, and it is run by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports.
The final is set for December 5 at the GCC Ground, Bourda. Winning prize for Female, Male Open and Over-40 Male is a trophy and $50,000 each; Runner-up gets a trophy and $25,000 each.
Best player in the final collects $5,000 plus a trophy each. The player of the tournament in the Female and Over-40 category will receive $5,000 and a trophy.
