Mohamed’s Enterprise of Lombard Street, Georgetown continued a 20-year tradition of supporting the Kashif and Shanghai football tournament when they committed to continue their support of the yearend football extravaganza yesterday at their location.
On behalf of the management, Supervisor Mrs. Dionne Johnson handed over the sponsorship cheque and replicas to be donated to the winning team to Kashif Muhammad.
The company expressed their commitment to maintaining their support of the K&S organisation once their doors remain open, God willing, and expressed pleasure at the growth the event has shown over the twenty years they have been associated. The Kashif and Shanghai tournament is in its 21st year.
Kashif Muhammad thanked Mohamed’s Enterprise for their unwavering support over the years and expressed pleasure at their association.
This year the tournament will feature at least two overseas teams and a keenly contested event is anticipated with the country’s best footballers set to be on show along with the visitors. The fixtures and other details pertaining to the tournament are expected to be released next weekend at a special event involving leading sponsors at the Duke Lodge.
