Juniors Jewellery & Gift Gallery and Two J’s General Store has continued their support of the NAMILCO Football Festival which will kick off shortly with the fourth edition of the knock-out tournament.
Vice President of the organising club, Fruta Conquerors, Ivor Thompson recently received one gold chain from Manager of Junior’s Jewellery & Gift Shop Ferdinand Bacchus at the store’s spanking new location, 64 Robb Street Lacytown.
The player to score the most goals in the tournament will receive the gold chain along with a trophy.
In brief remarks, Bacchus said that his company has always been happy to give support to the tournament since it is in keeping with his corporate responsibility and it was also a good opportunity to help and reward the youth in society.
Two J’s General Store, located on Regent Street, Georgetown, presented a check to Thompson for the tournament’s most valuable player.
Making the presentation on behalf of Two J’s General Store was Ms. Ameena Jadoonandan who remarked that her company has been supporting the tournament from its inception and they will continue such support in the interest of the game and the development of young people.
Thompson expressed gratitude to both entities on behalf of the club, thanking them for having faith and trust in the organising committee.
Proceeds from the tournament will be utilized for the development of the tournament venue, the Tucville Community Ground which also houses the Club’s Headquarters.
The 4th NAMILCO Football Festival is set to kick off this Saturday with a double header. A top prize of $500,000 is at stake.
