The National Sports Commission (NSC) Under 19 Junior Tournament was played off at the Queens College Badminton Courts on October on Friday and yesterday.
The Tournament which attracted students from schools around Georgetown was played in the Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Events.
The outstanding players were Avian Rodrigues who won the Triple Crown (Singles, Doubles and Mix) and Under 11 Pan American Bronze Medalist Priyanna Ramdhani who won the Girls Doubles and placed 3rd in the Singles.
The Results of the Finals and Third Places are:
Boys Singles Finals: Avian Rodrigues (UG) defeated Nicholas Ali (QC):21-19,24-22
Third Place went to Narayan Ramdhani (Marian) who defeated Avinash Odit (Marian):23-21,21-9
Girls Singles Finals: Greer Jackson (QC) defeated Angelica Holder (QC):21-5,21-8
Third Place went to Priyanna Ramdhani who defeated Pricilla Moore
21-18, 21-5
