Following the losses of Middleweight boxer Devon Boatswain to Afaese Fata of Samoa and Lightweight Clevon Rock to England’s Thomas Stalker, Guyana’s last hope of a Commonwealth Games boxing medal lies with Dexter Jordan.
Rock lost 8-1 in what was sad to be a competitive fight between him and the Englishman, who is also the leading amateur in Europe. Boatswain had lost by a similar 8-1 margin on Tuesday.
Jordan battles Neo Thamahane of Lesotho in the Flyweight division and will hope for a better performance than his teammates.
