Four more matches will be contested this evening when the Banks DIH ‘Nite’ Hockey Competition continues at the Thirst Park ground.
In the opening fixture, Hikers ladies take on Old Fort ‘B’ and that will be followed by the clash between GCC ladies and Hikers Cadets.
The next game will see GCC ‘B’ face off against Hikers Generals and this encounter like the two preceding matches are all Second Division fixtures, while the lone First Division engagement pits Old Fort ‘A’ against Hikers ‘A’ in the first match of the second round.
In the points standing, GCC ‘A’ and Hikers ‘A’ each share 3 points to lead the men’s first division, while GCC Tigers lead the second division table with 6 points, followed by Hikers Cadets on 4, GCC ‘B’ with 3, Hikers Generals on 2, Hikers ladies with 1 and Old Fort ‘B’ yet to score a point.
