Sharon Johnson, the woman whose 15-year-old daughter went missing, yesterday expressed total frustration, since she claims that neither the police or welfare are assisting her in trying to find her daughter. The woman said that she thinks Alicia, her daughter, is being held against her will.
According to Johnson, Alicia called her on Tuesday and told her she wanted to return home. However she has not showed up.
Johnson claimed that when she reported the matter to Anna Regina Police Station they referred her to Ruimveldt Police Station telling her that it is not a matter for them.
The woman said when she went to Ruimveldt Police Station officers there then told her that it was also not a matter for them, she should go to a probation officer.
According to the woman, she then proceeded to the Probation officer who asked her, “Why the police sent you here?”
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Alicia Johnson can contact her mother Sharon Johnson on telephone number 646-6198.
