The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged a special Twenty20 match between their A and the Under-19 teams which will be played tomorrow at the Area ‘H’ Ground Rose Hall Corentyne.
The match which starts at 14.30hrs will be used as warm up for the ‘A’ team which will be playing in Georgetown next week. The Board has also started early preparation for the 2011 Under-19 tournament by selecting players available for this year.
The BCB hopes to have the Berbice Under-15 and Under-19 teams for 2011 involved in at least two matches per month leading up to the next year’s tournaments.
The following players are asked to report to the Area ‘H’ Ground by 14:15hrs tomorrow.
Under-19 team: Kandasammy Surujnarine, Veerapen Permaul, Dominic Rickie, Joemal La Fleur, Kelvin Leitch, Clinton Pestano, Shailendra Shameer, Kevin Ramdeen, Collis Cort, Waqar Hassan, Gudakesh Motie-Kanhai, Shawn Perreira, Loydel Lewis and Sharmindra Hardyal.
‘A’ team: Eugene la Fleur, Harrinarine Chattergoon, Eon Hooper, Ranga Lachigadoo Latchman, Seon Hetmyer, Steve Latcha, Anthony Bramble, Troy Mathieson, Krisendat Ramoo, Keon Joseph and Keyron Fraser. Players must outfitted in their white gear.
