– Humphrey outlasts Sukra for Women’s crown
Just as expected Jeremy Miller won the Men’s Open Singles title to bring the curtains down on the GBTI Open Tennis Championships which ended on Saturday, at the Bank’s Hardcourts.
Miller, appearing in his third final, trounced Kijana Lewis 6-0, 6-1 to become the new Men’s champion.
In the Women’s division, veteran Carol Humphrey recovered from losing the firsts set to beat junior player Krystal Sukra 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.

Junior Boy’s Final-
Gavin Lewis (1) def. Daniel Lopes (2) 6-2, 7-6 (6).
Junior Girl’s Final-
Shawna Gentle (1) def. Krystal Sukra (2) 1-6, 6-1, 7-5.
Men’s Singles Final-
Jeremy Miller (2) def. Kijana Lewis 6-0, 6-1.
Ladies Singles Final-
Carol Humphrey (1) def. Krystal Sukra (2) 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.
Mixed Doubles Final-
Godfrey Lowden/Daly-Ramdyhan def. Jeremy Miller/Shawna Gentle 6-3, 5-7, 7-5.
Ladies Doubles Final-
Thi Fernandes & Carol Humphrey def. Krystal Sukra/Nicola Ramdyhan 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
Men’s Doubles Final-
Jason Andrews/Jeremy Miller def. Leyland Leacock/Gilbert Barckoy 6-3, 6-3.
