In May, the members of the Tucber Park Development Committee hosted a bar-b-que and the proceeds were used to purchase materials to upgrade the field.

The body was established in April, mainly in an attempt to satisfy what is needed in that location. During a recent interview, Chairman of the committee Phillip Carrington had said that the Tucber Park Co-operative Society should have been focusing on the development of the neighbourhood but that body is not functioning.

“We have decided to put the needs of our young people first and we are working towards having them gainfully occupied.”
