The Berbice Cricket Board has named two strong teams to represent the Ancient County in the upcoming GCB/Digicel Twenty20 tournament Super Sixes stage.
West Indies ODI Player Royston Crandon has been appointed Captain of the Free Weekend Team with Homchand Pooran as his deputy.
Renwick Batson would be in charge of the Free Credit Team; Anthony D’Andrade is vice captain.
The Teams were selected after the conclusion of the Berbice leg of the tournament.
Free Weekend: Royston Crandon (captain) Homchand Pooran (vice captain), Richard Ramdeen, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Rajendra Latchana, Jonathan Foo, Devon Clements, Rajiv Ivan, Devendra Bishoo, Delbert Hicks, Steve Latcha, Krisendat Ramoo, Yogindra Harrinarine, Michael Newland, Esuan Crandon and Devendra Thakurdeen. Manager is David Black with Adrian Amsterdam serving as Coach.
