As the police continue their investigation into the shooting incident which left a gunman nursing gunshot wounds, they are yet to locate a second suspect.
Up to press time yesterday the injured gunman, 27 year-old Enrico Innis of South Cummingslodge was still hospitalized at the Georgetown Public Hospital under police guards. Sources close to the investigation have said that they have not yet been able to question the injured man but they believe that they he will have vital information.
On Friday last, Innis had attacked a city businessman Oudit Seenarine and was about to rob him when he was shot during an exchange of gunfire. Innis was wounded but manage to flee the scene. However, while on the get-a-way motorcycle he fell off after crossing a speed hump on the road. He was subsequently found lying with gunshot injuries not far from the scene and was picked up by police and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
