ALBION FRONT, CORENTYNE – The St. Mary’s Anglican Church at Albion Front on the Corentyne recently honoured 25 mothers in recognition of the role they play on a daily basis.
President of the group, Romel Ayasammy, explained that the hampers given to the women were made possible with the help of Digicel and the Edward B. Beharry Group of Companies.
According to him, this is an annual event aimed at strengthening the values of Christianity and promoting a better relationship between the Church and members of the community.
The Edward B. Beharry Group of Companies gave food items while the Bigger Better Network presented backpacks.
In expressing gratitude, Mr. Romel Ayasammy said both companies have been offering much needed support to his group.
