National left-handed middle order batsman Vishaul Singh has made a successful start to his 3rd season in the division One Kent League in England notching up scores of 85 and 110 in his two games in the 40-overs league so far.
The 21-year-old GCC batsman who scored 107 runs from three First-Class matches in this year’s Regional four-day competition informed Kaieteur Sports that he has been in the United Kingdom for the past three weeks where he is again playing for the Sandwich Town Cricket Club.
“It’s been three weeks and the weather is great at the moment, very sunny and hot. I have batted well in the Division One League, scoring 36, 44 and 53 in the three league games on Saturdays,” Singh disclosed.
The solid former Guyana youth player explained that he has batted better in the Sunday league 40 over competition with scores of 85 against Ashford town and 110 against Deal Victoria in the two games he has played so far in that competition.
“I am looking forward to a packed week of cricket with a 20/20 game on Wednesday (today) and a 45-over game on Thursday (tomorrow) and two league games on Saturday and Sunday,” Singh added. (Sean Devers)
