‘Red Eye’ wanted for security guard’s murder

Police have issued a wanted bulletin for Compton Greene also called “Red Eye” for the recent murder of security guard Arjune Gobin.

According to a press release, Greene is also wanted for a series of armed robberies.
Police gave his last known address as Lot 84 Alness Village, Corentyne Berbice.
He is of medium height  and light skinned. Persons are asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2227, 226-2917, 333-2151, 333-2191, 911 or the nearest police station.
Gobin, a 47-year-old security guard, was shot dead by bandits in an early morning robbery at businessman Surendra Ganesh’s home at Wellington Park, Corentyne.
During the rampage, the gunmen discharged rounds to different sections of the house, used sledge hammers to smash a hole in the concrete wall on the southern wall of the house and broke windows to gain entry.
